   Seed locked at launch

   A secret random seed was created when this lotto launched. Only its fingerprint, below, is public, so it can't be changed after anyone enters.

2. 02

   Entries are frozen

   At the draw time, every eligible entry is listed in a fixed order: by post time, then post id. One line per X account.

3. 03

   3 winners are picked

   Each pick hashes the seed with the entry list. The result chooses one account from those left, so no account can win twice and every entry has the same chance.

4. 04

   Seed is revealed

   After the draw the seed is published. Anyone can check it matches the fingerprint and re-run the draw to get the same winners.

Demo lotto. Its entrants are fictional, and its seed was picked so the demo shows a particular winner. The draw still verifies, but this result was not random. Real lottos get a random seed at launch.
